Ruto Hits Back at President Uhuru for Denying Him Credit for Jubilee Gov’t Successes

Deputy President William Ruto has hit back at President Kenyatta over claims that he abandoned his duties to launch early presidential campaigns.

On Monday, Kenyatta said Ruto and his allies ignored his call to stop premature 2022 campaigns and focus on delivering their pledges to Kenyans.

"Sisi tumekuwa kazi kama jubilee na kama mnakumbuka mimi niliuliza kwa heshima tu nikasema tufanye kazi kwanza alafu turudi wakati wa siasa ukifika, nikaambiwa wewe huna uwezo wa kutuambia tuache, wakasema wacha sisi tutangatange," Uhuru said in Mombasa.

But in rejoinder, Ruto told off President Uhuru for trying to deny him credit for the successes of the Jubilee administration, saying the current government was a joint project between him and the president. 

Ruto, who was speaking at a roadside rally in Kakamega county on Tuesday, added that he has played a key role in the success of the Jubilee government.

“…I want to tell our friends, the Jubilee government was a joint project between Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto. I want to tell them you cannot deny me as Deputy President the credit we have achieved in the many things we have achieved as a government," Ruto stated.

"Anybody imagining that they can deny me the credit for the things we did in Jubilee are wasting their time. I made an equal contribution to the success of the Jubilee administration and I know too well, I have been in politics long enough that you plan theory in offices and execute practical in the field sometimes on top of cars," he added.

Ruto, who is eyeing the presidency in the forthcoming elections, further claimed that without him, the Jubilee government would not have existed or achieved anything.

"It is not going to happen my friends. Kama ni mpango wa mabarabara mimi niliketi nikapanga, kama ni mambo ya stima tuliketi chini tukapanga, kama ni mambo ya TTI tuliketi na tukapanga hata mambo ya elimu pia tuliketi na tukapanga pamoja," he remarked.

"Hauwezi kuniondoa katika mambo ambayo yamefaulu, kama singekueko serikali ya jubilee haingetengenezwa, let us face the truth."

I am not saying uhuru is perfect, but this cancer called Ruto hinestly has been busy sabotaging his boss from the get go. True cause only uhunye anapatanga credit for this humming economy. Looks like almost everybody in Kenya has a probox. Although in our village people are still very poor and living below poverty line, we are very very hopeful gova ya Samoei will give us stimulus and a lot of free money from his personal wealth to help us rise up kama hizo cities zingine. As a matter of fact alikujanga maai mahiu akatwambia si wheelbarrows for us, sisi watu wa maai mahiu ni loans za probox ama 14 seater nissans na itakuwa kama PPP loans za US meaning kama uko na staff and prove that umewalipa 60 months…as in end of his first term, your loans will be forgiven. A man with a big vision si kama ile jamaa ya mikate 🍞 na vitendawili. This is real bottom up economy working for those who have been forgotten na big boys. The people of Kenya should demand that Dr. Kipchirchir Samoei Arap Ruto reimburse the treasury the amount of money that he has earned during the last four years. Why?
For those of you who have finished your academic studies and obtained a doctorate, you know how the program is so demanding that you practically have no life until you defend your dissertation.
Dr. Samoei Arap Ruto was able to complete his doctorate while he was a full-time vice president under President Uhuru Ngina Kamau (Kenyatta). He took advantage of Uhuru's polite and kind natured personality and used the state resources to campaign full time and complete his studies.
He (Samoei) is not fit to be the next president of Kenya. To partially compensate the republic, he should take a research or a teaching job at the university of his choice to put into use what he acquired academically during the last four years.

You are deeply concerned about why I am stuck on playing the same record about the hidden character of Samoei repeatedly! I am concerned about the youth of Kenya who are blindly following a man (Samoei) they hardly know. I am glad a member of parliament from his micro nation (Keter) has been courageous and bold enough to share with us the true nature and his deep understanding of Samoei without mincing words. I would like to challenge his blind followers (especially the youth) whether they really know the true nature of brother Samoei.
1. His career started in 1992 when he was used by the late president (Toroitich) to distribute money for his re-election campaign. His partner in this project was brother Jirongo. They went ahead and printed a five-hundred-shilling note called “Jirongo.” Kenya as a nation has not yet recovered from this currency blunder.
2. He has refused to address the “Kiambaa Holocaust” issue that took place in Eldoret where old men, women, and children were roasted alive when they sought shelter in a place of worship while blindly thinking that the Jewish deity will save and protect them. Can you believe that as the mothers saw the flames intensify in church, they threw their children out and the children were thrown back into the church by the holocaust loyal members of the event! This event happened fourteen (14) years ago and up to the moment, no one has been arrested, prosecuted, or even jailed following these atrocities.
3. He (Samoei) claims to be a follower of the Jewish religion and a strong believer of the Son of Mariam. This is the same man while married impregnated a young college student and for some time refused to acknowledge the act. He must be a hypocrite and a religious con artist.
4. He stole the late Muteshi’s land who later died because of the stress that he encountered following this act!
5. He has used the state resources campaigning nonstop since 2017 and refused to stop even after he was asked by the president of the republic of Kenya.
6. He lives the life of an aristocrat while lying to the nation by calling himself a “hustler.” A hustler is basically a con artist. He should stop using this word immediately.
7. When the whole world is going high tech, Samoei is busy providing wheelbarrows to the ignorant youth as if owning one will solve all their employment problems.
SOLUTION: Chapter 6 of our Constitution should be applied to him and all Kenyans thinking of running for any public elective office and disqualify them permanently when they fail to meet the minimum requirements of our new CONSTITUTION.

According to the "Kamusi ya Kiingereza - Kiswahili Toleo la Tatu" published by the Institute of Kiswahili Studies, University of Dar Es Salaam, the translation of the word "hustler" is as follows:

1. Pwaguzi - skilled cheat
2. Laghai - dishonest person
3. Malaya - prostitute

Ruto is quite ignorant of his politics! He will never be the president of kenya! This guy is foolish! Attacking Uhuru will turn away a lot of voters! Uhuru is an institution and he will galvanize voters against Ruto! Ruto is not found anywhere! He will lose! The only support he can bank on is his few Kalenjins. Watch this space!
