Senator Wamatangi Stripped of Senate Majority Whip Post After Joining UDA

Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi has been stripped of his Senate Majority Chief Whip role by the Jubilee party.

This comes days after Senator Wamatangi ditched the ruling party and joined the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), which is led by Deputy President William Ruto.

In a letter sent to Senate Speaker Ken Lusaka and the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties on Wednesday, Jubilee stated that Wamatangi ceases to hold the position immediately.

The party noted that Wamatangi is deemed to have resigned from the membership of Jubilee after publicly declaring he had joined UDA.

Wamatangi announced his departure from Jubilee during a Kenya Kwanza alliance rally at Thika Stadium on March 13th, saying he will contest for the Kiambu gubernatorial seat under UDA.

The second-term senator also declared support for the UDA presidential candidate Williams Ruto.

Speaking on Citizen TV’s Day Break show on Thursday, Wamatangi said his decision to decamp to UDA was informed by a survey he conducted on the voters in Kiambu county.

“I conducted a very credible survey of what my people want in the next government, and I decided that if it is their wish, then so be it,” he stated.

Good riddance! Kimani had carried himself like a man with brains, class and dignity until he betrayed himself by joining the club with the f thieves - the UDAku conmen! Ruto is ready and willing to make sure he destroys the kikuyu legacy before he can destroy the whole country.

Something is serious wrong with Kiambu politicians. They have betrayed every body to include their mothers!

Kj, Wamatangi didn’t stop being a man of integrity and brilliant. He only decided to take his prowess where it’s deserved and equally needed. You see, he is no nominee for Uhuru or Kitendawili. He’s elected by the people. It’s therefore incumbent upon him to listen to his bosses ( the constituency ) which direction they want to go. Regrettably for Baba/ Uhuru the rich Kiambu vote of close to two million people is forever gone.

Kimani wa Matiangi’s blood sisters were burned alive by Ruto inside the Kiambaa church church in 2007, but Kimani has now betray his own sisters for political expediency in TangaTanga. You talk about a man being bitched by a mad man! He is telling us that he followed the wishes of his ignorant Kiambu people? Really? What kind of Nonsense is this foolishness?

Ruto didn’t burn anyone. It was Raila and Kibaki who caused the deaths of about 1500 people not just the few in Kiambaa.
It by virtue of Uhuru that we know the mad man ( mugoroki) very well.
You know so a whole constituency cannot be ignorant. Please check yourself.

Your own mother knows Ruto killed women and children in Kiambaa and many others like Yebei, Juma, Kenei, etc. Stop lying that Ruto did not burn children and their mothers inside the Kiambaa church! You must be a true devil to lie here that Ruto had nothing to do with the killings.

He wasn’t running for presidency. So he had nothing he would have been fighting for. The votes were stolen so it’s said and that was in the interest of Raila and Kibaki. Stop that idiocy of maligning innocent people of your one cent propaganda.

Wamatangi knows he stands zero chance of getting a nomination in Jubilee and in all likelihood was rigged in by Ruto. He might also be under the impression that Jubilee is unpopular in Kiambu. Politics is a game of chess.

This Wamatangi will be far much worse leader than Waititu if elected governor of Kiambu. A good leader tells his constituents the truth rather than following them blindly.

Kiambu will come to regret voting for WSR if he happens to become president. Wamatangi, kabogo, Kuria, Waiguru, Gitau, Wahome, kihika, etc know they are selling central kenya short just for them to have a political life.

It is so wrong to have so called leaders without a backbone. They will all come to regret at some point.
