Murathe Urges Raila to Consider Wajackoyah's Proposal to Legalize Marijuana

Jubilee Party Vice-Chairman David Murathe has endorsed Roots Party presidential candidate Prof. George Wajackoyah’s proposal to legalize marijuana farming in Kenya.

While urging Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya coalition party presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga to adopt marijuana trade reforms, Murathe noted that the plant is benefiting other countries that are growing it for medicinal purposes.

He argued that there is a need to interrogate Wajackoyah’s marijuana reforms seriously, adding that the numbers the Roots Party presidential contender are giving make sense.

“I like what he is saying about weed. I saw a documentary the other day about weed in South Africa but it is not your normal weed, this is medicinal… You are not telling us to grow weed in Galana or Mwea instead of food security, I like it in theory,” Murathe said.

He added: “We are even asking our candidate [Raila] to consider in the next dispensation for medicinal purposes because the numbers Wajackoyah is giving are making sense.”

Wajackoyah has promised to introduce radical reforms including the legalization of marijuana to support its processing for medical use, and the upscaling of snake farming to produce antivenin if elected president.

He argues that marijuana and snake farming can generate sufficient revenues to help offset the national debt which currently stands at Sh8.4 trillion.

“It’s not only Marijuana, we’re introducing snake farming so that we can actually extract snake poison for purposes of medication,” Wajackoya said in a recent interview.

Well well well, there is a reason why we have candidates contesting. They try to sell their ideology to the masses hoping to win their approval, and votes.
Raila obviously need not be told about Mr. Ganja's ideas. He has hard about them.He knows that he might offend the anti ganja crowd, and a significant number of religious voters.
Mr Murathe, I suggest you switch parties and start campaigning for Mr. Ganja. That's how you show support for his ideas, and not telling RAO to steal them...

Educate self before coming here to write shit you know nothing about. Whether you agree with wajakoyah or not he’s making a lot of sense. Uganda has done this for years, they’re making bank while Kenya’s debt continues to grow. This is the kind of nonsense ideas spread by these con churches in Kenya full of idiot members.

I reject the idea of making dope legal in kenya. We already have enough dope heads across the country. Most of the dopers are the aimless youth who are already not being utilized properly as product citizens. Adding drugs on top of their miserable jobless situation will not help.

Some of these waheshimiwas know exactly what they are talking about when referring to weed. Why? We used to smoke it together in high school back in the day. I will not name names but you get my drift.

@MarkOnyango, even if you name them they will deny it,and charge you with defaming them. Iam sure you have made some of those waheshimiwas you smoked with a little nervous. To them, I suggest that they come forward and confess, like Obama did before running for presidency.Otherwise, some of the other smoking comrades of the past,or even present, may not be as kind as you.For afew fistful of dollars alot could spill out...

Wanjokoya would have been a favorite for many Kenyans had he not mentioned NGWAI in his many addresses.Murathe forgets Wanjokoya would force him and other elite thugs to surrender billions they stole including Murathe’s shs 5b COVID loot and shs 50b illegal Chinese brokage before he faces the FIRING SQUAD.
