Ruto Appoints Francis Muthaura, Charles Nyachae to Gov't Positions

President William Ruto has made new appointments, bringing Ambassador Francis Muthaura back into State positions.

Muthaura, an ex-government figure who held significant roles under the leadership of Moi, Kenyatta, and Kibaki, has been named the Chancellor of Kenyatta University for a period of five years.

In a recent development, President Ruto has appointed Charles Nyachae to serve as the Chairperson of the Council of Kenya School of Government, taking over from Ms Njoki Kahika. Nyachae, a close associate of the President since the 2022 election, will hold this position for a year. Additionally, Tom Mshindi, a seasoned journalist with a remarkable 24-year tenure as the editor-in-chief of Nation Media Ggroup, has been appointed as the chair of the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation board. Mshindi's extensive experience and esteemed reputation make him an excellent choice for this role.

Tom Mshindi has been named as the new chairman of the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation board according to a gazette notification dated January 19 by President William Ruto. Benjamin Maingi's position has been rescinded. Mshindi began his career as a reporter and eventually rose to become a managing editor before retiring in 2018. The board praised him for his unwavering commitment to the company throughout the span of twenty years.

Obviously he has no option but to select those supported his campaign wise either financial or on-the-road. So that 2027 is covered up. Today, I overheard that the prez has order a special personal vehicle worth over Kshs 75 million. While the Nairobi state house remodel was approved at Kshs 795 Million but presently the figured flew over Kshs 890 Million with more work to go will sooner surpass over 1 Billion. Despite the on-going struggle of high cost of living of Wananchi, where's the value of all this unnecessary spending in addition to looting public coffers as if there's no tomorrow. Truly without the Opposition, I forecast the sovereign has to take charge ASAP - hit me?
