NASA's Deported US Expert Reacts to Nullification of President Uhuru's Re-election

The US-based National Super Alliance (NASA) consultant who was deported by Kenyan authorities days to the August 8th general election has described Friday's Kenya Supreme Court verdict on presidential petition filed by Raila Odinga as “a victory for the Kenyan people and democracy worldwide.”

John Aristotle Phillips, an expert hired to work for Raila Odinga's presidential campaign said that the Supreme Court judges manifested great courage, “given the lengths to which those in government have gone to cling to power.”

“This past election was a massive fraud,” he declared.

Phillips, who heads a Washington-based firm Aristotle Inc, was forcefully evicted from his Nairobi residence on August 4th by a dozen of armed men in civilian clothes and later deported to the US. Phillips said he forced to watch “torture videos” as he was driven to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

He was extradited alongside his Canadian colleague, Andrew Katsouris, the following day. The two were deported on accusations og violating the terms of their visas.

“Kenyans respect, more than ever, Raila Odinga’s tenacity, his moral compass and his willingness to fight for them even when all seems lost,” Phillips said on Friday.

“Change is coming to Kenya and judgment day is exactly 60 days from today,” he said.

Aristotle Inc specialises in gathering copious data on voters and electoral patterns to aid clients craft campaign strategies.

The two consultants had stayed in Kenya for about two months while working for the former Prime Minister's presidential campaign.
