William Mwangi, 70, of Worcester, Massachusetts Seeks Help to Return to Kenya After Losing Eyesight
An elderly Kenyan man living in the United States is appealing to well-wishers to help him return to Kenya.
70-year-old William Mwangi Kagwima from Worcester, Massachusetts moved to the US in 1998 but wants to return home after losing his sight.
Mwangi began losing his sight last year and this means he can no longer work, making it hard for him to survive in the US.
Since losing his sight, he has endured hardship and has exhausted all his savings.
He is appealing to the Kenyan community in the US and any other well-wishers to come to his rescue. He wants to return home to his family.
A fundraiser has been organized to raise money to enable Mwangi return home.
The event will be held on Saturday, April 6th, 2019, from 4 pm to 11 pm at the American Legion Hall, 267 Providence Street Worcester, MA 01607.
