President Macron landed in Nairobi on Wednesday afternoon and proceeded to State House, where he was honored with a 21 gun-salute.

Macron also inspected a guard of honor mounted by Kenya Army ahead of bilateral talks with President Kenyatta.

The two were also set to discuss the proposed development of a commuter rail service between the Nairobi CBD and the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

Macron and Kenyatta were later expected to visit Nairobi Central Railway Station.

“I am delighted to host my friend H.E. President Emmanuel Macron of France at State House, Nairobi in his historic visit to Kenya. Kenya and France enjoy a cordial relationship that has helped spur growth in different areas for the benefit of our people,” said President Kenyatta in a tweet.

Macron arrived in Kenya after State visits in Djibouti and Ethiopia, where he held talks with President Ismail Omar Guelleh (Djibouti) and Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (Ethiopia).

Welcome Macron, come and indebt Kenya some more. Ksh 21B is unaccounted for which could have been used for commuter rail. Trillions have been lost through corruption and now here you are, wanting a part of the cake.

Fact:: France cannot be trusted.

They may not be our enemies but for sure they are not friends of Kenyans.

They lack the basic common sense of opening IEBC servers since 2017.
They facilitate Electoral fraud.

Macron cannot be trusted. A bunch of shameless election thieves.

when is France opening the IEBC servers located in their country?

Macron needs to answer that simple question.

He cannot pretend not understand French.

While they discuss about the proposed commuter rail between state house & JKIA,I think it is also important that our president points out to his host that we already have 6 people who have succumbed to death as a result of starvation & some sugarcane farmers awaiting to be paid by the state for their deliveries! No doubt this is a fast developing nation!

Diana!Even if the servers were opened & your choice of president was declared the winner,would you stop chewing omena & start eating humbergers? C'mon!move on! We're in 2019 not 2017! I guess you're full of ulcers & have nightmares! But now you have an opportunity to confront Macron with your beliefs before he departs!
