President William Ruto has announced additional appointments to his cabinet including members who support Opposition leader Raila Odinga.
This strategic move is part of Ruto's broader vision to establish a government of national unity aimed at addressing Kenya's pressing challenges. The recent nominations, announced on Wednesday, follow an earlier round of appointments made the previous Friday. These changes come in the wake of Ruto's bold decision to dissolve his entire cabinet with the exception of Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi. According to UDA leaders, this overhaul mirrors Ruto's commitment to reshaping his administration to serve the nation's needs better.
In his public statement, Ruto emphasizes the importance of extensive consultations across various sectors and political formations. He expresses his intention to create a broad-based government capable of expediting the implementation of critical programs. These initiatives are designed to tackle the country's debt burden, enhance domestic resource mobilization, create employment opportunities, and eliminate inefficiencies within government agencies. Ruto also highlights the need to combat corruption to create a cost-effective and efficient government. He believes that this newly formed team will be instrumental in achieving these ambitious goals.
Among the notable appointments are several leaders allied with Azimio leader Raila Odinga, including Hassan Joho for the Mining portfolio, Wycliffe Oparanya for Cooperatives, John Mbadi for the National Treasury, and Opiyo Wandayi for Energy. These appointments signal a significant shift in Kenya's political landscape, as Ruto seeks to bring together diverse political factions to address the nation's challenges. On July 11, all Cabinet Secretaries and the Attorney General were relieved of their duties, with Principal Secretaries temporarily coordinating ministerial affairs until a new cabinet was definitively appointed. In the interim, Musalia Mudavadi was appointed as the acting Cabinet Secretary for all ministries, ensuring continuity in government operations.
This comprehensive reshuffle comes against a backdrop of political tension and public dissatisfaction. Kenya has witnessed month-long protests, primarily led by young people demanding accountability, good governance, and economic reforms. These demonstrations, initially sparked by opposition to a finance bill proposing new taxes, have since evolved into broader calls for change. Opposition leader Raila Odinga has been vocal about his conditions for engaging with the Ruto administration. He has outlined several key demands, including the cessation of threats against Gen Z demonstrators, compensation for families of those killed in protests, the release of arrested political protesters, and the prosecution of police officers involved in abductions and extrajudicial killings.
Despite the inclusion of his allies in the new cabinet, Odinga maintains that he has not forwarded any names for consideration and insists that critical issues must be addressed before any form of engagement with the government.
The final list includes;
- National Treasury - John Mbadi
- Youth Affairs and Sports - Kipchumba Murkomen
- Cooperatives - Wycliffe Oparanya
- Gender - Stella Langa't
- Tourism - Rebecca Miano
- Energy and Petroleum - Opiyo Wandayi

Is Ruto serious or he just doesn't have a clue of what Kenyans want?
Or is he just there to keep milking this cow and protecting his goons?
Jamani!
King James version of the bible:
Numbers 35:34 states;
": So you shall not pollute the land wherein ye are;for blood defileth the land. And land cannot be cleansed of blood that was shed there in, but by the blood of him that shed it"
We are in spiritual times.
Only the God of Kenya can heal the land!!

There are around 10,000 distinct religions in the world, but there is no consensus on the exact number. However, only four of these religions account for over 77% of the world's population:
1. The first one is based on the late son of Miriam and Joseph: 31.4%
2. The second one is based on the late son of Amina and Abdullah: 23.2%
3. Hinduism: 15.0%
4. Buddhism: 7.1%
Let us not forget that the first two religions are associated with global colonialism and slavery of the COHO (Continent Of Human Origins) people. In addition, they are 100% intolerant of the colonized people's indigenous languages, religions, cultures, names, skin color, hair texture, and color of other people's eyes. I have a very special acronym that defines them: DIP - The "D" is for Diversity, the "I" is for Intolerant, and the "P" is for People.
Let us free ourselves from these two intolerant religions by discarding and deleting their religious books (Bible and Quran) from our minds because in these two books, slavery is promoted and justified against the people of COHO.
Show me a corrupt free Kenyan and perhaps I might show you some heavenly angels.
To my understanding there is no Kenyan that isn’t corrupt. Even the ones agitating on the streets( so called GZs are not exceptional. They read out only one part that ostensibly allows them to picket. But then they end up breaking the most laws.
They were called for dialogue/ solution but refused to do so. Why would they want representation if they can’t sit at the table?
The constitution envisages an election after 5 years. It’s not that every time someone can after pay goons to destabilize a democracy that we call for elections. Otherwise if this was to be the case then there wouldn’t be a country left.
Apparently Ruto hears,but does not listen. Gen.Z have clearly said,"no recycling"Not only that,but the replacement CS should not have any scandal.
If I remember correctly Oparanya was being investigated for embezzlement.
RUTO MUST GO!
It's over.
RUTO MUST GO.
Back to the ballot.
