NASA Prepared for Mass Action, Chief Strategist David Ndii Says

National Super Alliance (NASA) head of strategy David Ndii says that the alliance is prepared for mass action, should the Supreme Court fail to consider its evidence on election subversion.

Speaking in an interview with NTV on Tuesday night, NASA chief strategist defended the decision saying Nasa will opt mass action to fight impunity.

"We have been calling for mass action since 1991 and we will not stop as long as some people try to restore dictatorship,” he said during an interview with Larry Madowo on NTV.

"If change cannot come through the ballot, it will come through the bullet," he added.

“Protestors do not kill, they only resist oppression. It is the police who shoot and kill when protesters resist. Any killing is initiated by government. We will call for mass action,” he said.

Ndii said identity politics are to blame as some politicians have used it as a taboo to oppress other communities.

“We need to discuss why Kenya should stay together just like in an abusive relationship people talk and agree either to break up or move on,” he said.

"We as NASA clearly know that the problem we are dealing with is the political impunity and we know courts cannot solve this. We are fighting the election not just to win power but on grounds of implementing electoral reforms," Ndii said.

He said that even if Supreme Court fail to rule in favour of NASA, they must make a considered judgment that show that NASA lost fairly in a procedural manner.

"There should be open civil conversations on this matter and frightening people with secession will not help and throwing some statements does not amount to incitement," Ndii said.

If death can bring change then it is justified BUT if not it is in vain. for it will leave the families of the dead in turmoil. don't punish your family if you know you will die in vain, your children and parents , siblings do not deserve it . It is better to live and continue fighting

I will never get the true meaning of incitement if this is not! This Ndii should not spend a night in his house but at Kamiti awaiting trial. Why is NASA then wasting time with petitions if they already have a decision at hand? Stop fooling Kenyans for we are too busy to join you in the streets. We made a decision on August 8th and thus we are not sure of whom you represent in your talks. We are interested in a peaceful country where we should not call bullets or any kind of violence. Ndii and the likes, cool down and wait for 2022.

Gitonga & Baite, you are both on point. What bothers me about our justice system is that the likes of this guy are given a platform to preach hate and incitement and get away with it. Whilst I respect we live in a democracy, it's pretty hypocritical to arrest the guys behind what's up or anyone who tries to say something contrary to what is perceived acceptable then have this moron incite like this. I was shocked to note elsewhere that these guys are calling for Kenya to be divided, basically, ethnic cleansing in my books. This is going down really dirty. I was born, bred and buttered in Nairobi and whilst there was casual put downs among the tribes, I honesty never experienced such hatred being spewed nowadays. I hope our brothers and sisters encouraged to take part in these nasty deeds realise that when it gets really messy, these rich inciters are the same ones who will be able to ship out of the country with ease leaving the common mwanainchi behind, poorer than ever, financially, spiritually and morally. God help our nation, I really don't like the drift of things so far...
