Supreme Court Exonerates President Uhuru from Allegations of Electoral Misconduct

The Supreme Court has cleared President Uhuru Kenyatta of electoral misconduct accusations leveled against him by Raila Odinga in his presidential petition.

In its ruling on Friday, which nullified the reelection of President Uhuru Kenyatta, the highest court on the land said that the Electoral Commission was found to have conducted the election contrary to the law, and ordered a fresh election be held within 60 days.

"As to whether there were irregularities and illegalities committed in the conduct of the 2017 Presidential Election, the court was satisfied that the 1 Respondent committed irregularities and illegalities inter alia, in the transmission of results, particulars and the substance of which will be given in the detailed and reasoned Judgment of the court,".

The Court, however, exonerated the President from electoral misconduct claims by the opposition in the petition.

" The court however found no evidence of misconduct on the part of the 3rd Respondent( President Uhuru),".

In his petition, Raila accused Uhuru of voter bribery, intimidation and using state resources in his campaigns.

This is a complete set up for Raila. The Supreme Court want to prove and confirm to all Kenyans and the entire world that Uhuru was voted in as the President of Kenya and Raila will never be President of Kenya. I really feel for Raila because right now anashangilia na hajui this is a set up to put him to more shame.
