One Person Dies as Fire Guts Down Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko's Casuarina Restaurant

One person has been confirmed dead after fire razed down a night club, Casuarina owned by Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko.

Reports indicate that the inferno started at around midnight and completely consumed Sonko's restaurant, which is located in Buruburu estate in Nairobi.

The cause of the fire was yet to be established. However, there are speculations that the attack was carried out by the former Senator's rivals, who are frustrated by his new efforts to fight cartels at City Hall.

Confirming the incident, Governor Sonko posted images of the hotel on fire on Facebook post and mourned the deceased worker.

"I serve a very faithful God. My God never lets me down. RIP Kilunda," Sonko stated.

Nothing was salvaged from the restaurant despite the quick response by the Nairobi County government firefighters.

The deceased was a worker at the hotel and his body has since been moved to the mortuary as police investigations launch investigations into the incident.

Goodluck cleaning up Nairobi. This thing of taking lives needs to stop. It starts with Jubilee people disappearing and ending up dead. That is why we need a new government

100% agreed but definitely not NASA as alternative. They have been in government before, implicated in several scandals as well and controlled several governorships. Different forest, same monkeys.

Same forest different monkeys would suffice as well.Anyway I concur with you. When these monkeys were in the other forest(government) they praised it,when they switch allegiance to other parties they thought would carry them to caanan, they attacked the forest they had just enjoyed swinging,,eating fruits and copulating...
If they did not deliver in the old regime they were in, what will make them deliver this time?Yes they are same monkeys.
Come to think of it we are descendants of monkeys. We vote them in all the time despite their lies and failed promised...
