Supreme Court Judges Relied on 'Doctored' Documents to Nullify Election, IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba Says
Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission CEO Ezra Chiloba has insinuated that Supreme Court Judges relied on doctored documents to overturn August 8th election.
Speaking to special detectives, Chiloba said that the documents used by the highest court were in "a sharp contrast" to ones supplied by IEBC, the Star reported.
During the grilling, Chiloba recorded a four-page testimony with four investigators looking into the anomalies that prompted to the annulment of the poll.
Speaking during the six hour questioning at the Anniversary towers offices, the CEO pointed out that someone might have cooked the documents with an intention to discredit the entire poll.
"All documents presented by the IEBC had security features, serial numbers and [were] signed, contrary to the judgment by majority judges," he said in his statement.
In their judgment, the four judges who ruled in favor of nullifying the election ruled that, some forms were not signed and lacked identification features among others.
The majority judges based their ruling on the Supreme Court Registrar Esther Nyaiyaki' s report to overturn President Uhuru's victory.
The registrar is facing probe by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) and has been summoned to record statements, although the judiciary has declined the invitation. The judiciary said it would not release crucial documents requested by EACC for probe on Nyaiyaki, unless a court order is made.

I feel bad for Esther Nyaiyaki cos she may have been dealing with real thugs not knowing the implications. She may not have thoroughly scrutinized the documents before her thinking forgery would not happen. Either way, people need to wake up and start taking their job very seriously, understanding implications of overlooking stuff which could very well have an effect in the whole country.

No wonder your continued presence in IEBC leaves NAsA jittery. A couple of thinkers back when the case started intimated that the petitioner may have actually been the villain; because the kind of details and unsubstantiated evidence they had suggested they were either there planting the evidence or had an insider working for them.
If the historic judgement turns out to have been on the basis of doctored evidence; then history will repeat itself to unearth the historic betrayal of truth.
