NASA MPs Endorse Deputy President Ruto's 2022 Presidential Bid

A section of leaders allied to the National Super Alliance (Nasa) have endorsed Deputy President William Ruto's 2022 presidential bid.

The Opposition affiliated MPs drawn from the Coast region have pledged to support Ruto's bid to succeed President Kenyatta during the next general elections.

Led by Wundanyi Member of Parliament Danson Mwashako (Wiper), the leaders, who accompanied Ruto in his tour to the Coast, heaped praises on him, noting that he is the most suitable candidate to take over from Kenyatta.

"We fully support the DP's journey to State House. We will rally our people behind him," Mwashako said when he accompanied Ruto at ACK St Barnabas in Voi, Taita Taveta county on Sunday.

His Voi counterpart, Jones Mlolwa (ODM) said the region will back Ruto because he has demonstrated that he is commitment to the country's development.

"To succeed we must [sign] a joint pact that will enable Ruto ascend to power," Mlolwa said.

Ruto was accompanied by Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria, Nixon Korir(Langata), Kapsaret's Oscar Sudi and Taita Taveta Women Representative Lydia Haika. Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa (ODM) also attended the function.

He was welcomed to the Taita Taveta by area Governor Granton Samboja.

Kalenjins are power hungry and primitive, it just pathetic.

Moi was president 24 years and Kalenjin are still cattle rustling, bandits and no tap water.

Therefore,Kalenjins need to spare Kenyans the drama and go to school.

Children in Rift valley don't go to school.

These people can't be helped.Power hungry and primitive.

Such derogatory comments that are divisive should not be part of this forum. I am not sure which community you hail from but if others are so illiterate relative to your community, why don't we have more into top leadership from yours. You my be educated but primitive in your reasoning.

"Usikate kanzu kabla mtoto hajazaliwa." A very profound Swahili proverb indeed.

We need desperately a change of leadership in Kenya come 2022. Kenya needs a person (man or woman) free from any scandal or existing skeletons deeply buried in the closets.

It is not time now to start endorsing 2022 presidential candidates. I wonder how much these NASA members of parliament have been paid to endorse Ruto?

Shame on you Danson Mwashako and John Mlolwa for prematurely imposing Ruto to the people of Kenya!
