Jubilee MP Challenges President Uhuru to Allow Lifestyle Audit on Mzee Jomo Kenyatta

A Jubilee Member of Parliament says the lifestyle audit on all public servants ordered by President Kenyatta last week should also include Kenya's founding President.

Speaking on Saturday, Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi welcomed President Kenyatta's order for lifestyle audit and challenged him to also include his late father, Mzee Jomo Kenyatta.

Kenyatta, who spoke in Mombasa on Thursday, said the wealth review will be done on all government officials including himself, Deputy President William Ruto, Cabinet Secretaries, Governors, Senators and MPs.

"You must be able to explain how you got your car, your house and land in comparison to what you earn," the President said.

"Transparency is when all those in authority declare what they own and how they got their property."

Oscar, a second-time MP, said the scrutiny should also be done on the senior Kenyatta."We are with the President on this, in fact, more than 100 per cent. We ask everyone to submit to the audit including political leaders and their families."

"We will start with Mzee Jomo, then follow with him and the rest of us," Sudi said, adding that he's more than ready to reveal how he acquired his wealth since his days as a matatu tout.

Sudi said he will also account for every wealth amassed by his father, a former cook at Moi University. His sentiments were echoed by his Kesses counterpart Dr Swarrup Mishra.

"No one should have fears over the lifestyle audit if they acquired what they have genuinely," he said.

I love it when people safely miles away advocate for a revolution. Lybia, Iraq, Southern Sudan and Syria have been shining examples of a revolution. The problem is the electorate who have agreed to be boxed into tribes and packaged as weapons for political advantage. We should teach them all a lesson and go the Malaysia way.

I have been advocating for a bloody revolution while in Kenya for years.Even fighting for INDEPENDENCE was a bloody revolution. It was a good job but results were ZERO in most countries but NEGATIVE for Kenya.Kina Kimathi died for expired Kenyatta,Biwort,Ntimama and M oi/Raila's permission to kill and loot. They died for kina Uhuru,Kibaki,Nyong,Kirubi and their gangs to loot.Successful Revolutions were there in China,Poland,Tunisia etc.Let me assure you that i will volunteer to take care of you first for your loyalty to the ruling class of thugs.

We ask everyone to submit to the audit including political leaders and their families.I do belief that this audit is for the living leaders not the dead ones. Objective is for the people to be able to account for their wealth, however I don't think the dead own anything nor can they account to you for the audit. FYI the dead came to the world with nothing and they leave with nothing.

Oscar Sudi can only be described as an obstructor. He is employing a silly tactic. Should we also audit his father (dead or alive?).

Since Mzee is not there to defend himself why audit him? Let's deal with corrupt individuals that are currently running around, and jail them. When we have dealt with current scandals, then we can turn to other past individuals.

These MP's are requesting the impossible to water down the audit. The citizenry should reject anyone in a public position that refuses the audit. This audit should be able to expose both those who steal from the public and those who receive bribes from foreigners to sell our resources for next to nothing and to destroy local industries by importing what we can and are capable of producing locally. No foreign auditor should be involved in this. This is a Kenyan problem that can only be solved by Kenyans. We do not need foreigners involved in domestic matter. We know what happened with foreign ICC after eight years
