Anti-Corruption Detectives Arrest Embakasi North MP James Gakuya

Detectives from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) have arrested Embakasi North Member of Parliament James Mwangi Gakuya.

In a statement on Twitter on Wednesday, EACC said the MP will face corruption-related charges for a yet to  be disclosed case.

"Embakasi North MP James Mwangi Gakuya arrested by @EACCKenya to face corruption related charges," EACC said in a tweet.

Gakuya is reportedly being held at EACC Headquarters at Integrity Centre in Nairobi.

In 2015, Gakuya was arrested for allegedly defrauding former Makadara MP Benson Mutura of Sh7 million.

He was accused of obtaining the money under pretense that he was in a position to sell a piece of land No. Nairobi/Block 110/424. He was released on a cash bail of Sh1 million pending the hearing of the case.

So much corruption in the country. We need to get rid of all these people and start all over again. It seems corruption is in their DNA. Poor Kenya, she does not deserve this.

High time we ask scientist if they got medication to cure Corruption..watu wadungwe shindano ama wameze dawa ya kutibu hii ugonjwa mbovu..the 7th commandment..DO NOT STEAL
