US First Lady Melania Trump Lands at JKIA
United States First Lady Melania Trump on Thursday night arrived in Kenya.
The plane carrying Melania landed at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) at around 9pm East Africa time.
Mrs Trump was received at the Nairobi airport by Kenya’s First Lady Margaret Kenyatta and outgoing American ambassador Robert Godec.
In a tweet earlier in the day, US President Donald Trump said his was fe was "doing really well in Africa."
“Our country’s great First Lady, Melania, is doing really well in Africa. The people love her, and she loves them! It is a beautiful thing to see.”
So far, Melania has visited Ghana and Malawi in her first solo international trip since assuming office and will head to Egypt after leaving concluding her visit to Kenya.
