Former KRA Boss John Munge Passes Away in Nairobi

Former Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) Commissioner-General John Munge has passed away.
Munge passed on while undergoing treatment at a Nairobi hospital on Tuesday.
President Kenyatta has sent a message of condolence to the family and friends of Munge following his death.
Kenyatta has described Munge as a patriot who served Kenyans with integrity.
“John Munge was a great Kenyan who was committed to the betterment of the country through hard work and dedication,” says Kenyatta.
He was the co-founder of the Shah Munge and Partners Stock Brokers, one of the pioneer brokers at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE).
Munge resigned from KRA in March 2003 over the collapse of Euro Bank and allegations of involvement in the loss of funds from the tax agency.
He has maintained his innocence from any wrongdoing.

It's misleading to say Munge was a Great man and a Patriot yet he "resigned from KRA in March 2003 over the collapse of Euro Bank and allegations of involvement in the loss of funds from the tax agency."
