Uhuru Attends Enthronement of Japan Emperor Naruhito

President Kenyatta on Tuesday attended the enthronement of Japan’s Emperor Naruhito in Tokyo.
Among world leaders invited to the ceremony were members of royal families from across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
Naruhito formally proclaimed his ascension to the throne in an elaborate ceremony that included a series of traditional rituals inside the imperial palace in Tokyo.
“I hereby declare my enthronement at home and abroad,” Naruhito said.
59-year-old Emperor officially began his reign in May this year after the abdication of his father, the then-Emperor Akihito.
Kenya’s State House shared photos of Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta during the marking of the once-in-a-generation ceremony.
“Japan has been one of Kenya’s outstanding partners in the development of geothermal power resources especially the Olkaria complex in Naivasha, a project that has earned the country international recognition as an African leader in renewable energy development,” State House tweeted.
Uhuru hailed Japan for supporting Kenya in developing the “renewable energy, infrastructure, water, health, education, and technology transfer among other sectors.”

I didn't see other invitees dressed in that comical suit. Some of the africans were dressed in their traditional attire. A colonial mindset is a sad state of mind.
