Suspected Al-Shabaab Fighters Attack Police Camp in Garissa

Suspected Al-Shabaab militants on Wednesday evening staged an attack on Yumbis Police Camp in Fafi, Garissa County.

The attackers are said to have gained entry into the camp that hosts Border Patrol Unit officers after hurling several explosives at around 6 pm.

Some loud explosions were followed by a heavy exchange of gunfire between security forces and the assailants, according to reports.

"A loud explosion was heard at about 6 pm. BPU YUMBIS under heavy Al-Shabaab attack," a report seen by Daily Nation says.

The report added that air support from Modika military camp was immediately activated.

Confirming the incident, Northeastern Regional Police Commander Rono Bunei said the attackers were repulsed and are being pursued by ground and air.

Last year, three Al-Shabaab fighters were killed by Kenyan security forces after they invaded the same police post.

It is not clear where there are any casualties or damages in Wednesday’s attack.

America and it’s allies clearly don’t know what they’re doing.

1. Nyumba kumi is a failed idea. Radicalizing villagers and terrorizing the elderly all over Kenya. Foolishness on steroids.
2. The Kenyan government is demonic cult, it can’t save itself from itself. It exists to steal public funds and kill Kenyans.

3. We want secession.

There was no public participation in this “Fight against terrorism “. So,keep fighting zombies.

Who said I need your help? The Truth always hurts, Guesty. But it is either a Strength, or Weakness, depending on how you approach it. Challenges in life are always there. If you learn from them, then they build you. If you become vain and bitter with those have upset you, then you don't learn from mistakes, whether they are yours, or someone close to you. Life is too short to live hating Others. If you learn to love others, you will realize that even those you hate don't deserve the time and energy that you use expressing your hate.

You can secede to Uganda, Guesty. I understand that there are also Luos there. It is next door to Nyanza. There you don't have to deal with cheating Luhyas, or thieving Kikuyus. And in Uganda, unlike Kenya, which has indigenous Somalis, it is easy to identify terrorists, because they are black Africans, called the Lord's Resistance Army. We have deeper issues in Kenya to deal with. Like how to Identify Kenyan Somalis, from non Kenyans. Your mind is too simple, and traumatized, to understand this.

Hawa wakora Al-Shabaab wametuzoea sana. Kenya should dig deep trenches at the border with Somalia and deploy cameras every km along the border. That way, before the terrorists build makeshift bridges to cross into Kenya, KDF will have bombed them.
