‘Coronavirus is Real’: MP Moses Kuria Admitted at Karen Hospital with Covid-19

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria is currently undergoing treatment at Karen Hospital in Nairobi after contracting Covid-19.

Kuria on Wednesday shared photos of himself lying on a hospital bed, adding that he was admitted to the medical facility 27 days ago even as he urged Kenyans to remain vigilant because coronavirus is real.

“I really hope that beyond all the debate around Covid-19, all and sundry will not forget that Corona Virus is real. The worst thing we can do is to lower our guard!” Kuria wrote on his Facebook and Twitter pages.

He, at the same time, lauded healthcare workers in the frontline of the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic for putting their lives in danger to save others.

“And above all let us remember our gallant front line workers- Not just doctors and nurses like but subordinate staff who put their lives in the line of danger to give care to Corona Virus patients.”

“If you are in a hospital bed- Like myself for the last 27 days here at Karen Hospital you witness first-hand the amount of sacrifice they make amid very difficult circumstances,” he added.

“You learn to focus more on the virus and our front line workers, and less on sideshows. We shall overcome COVID-19.”

As of Tuesday, Kenya had reported 34,315 cases of Covid-19, out of which 20,211 have recovered while 577 have lost their lives.

Wow Kuria, keep fighting. Know there are many haters who will be wishing for your death; but many others are praying for your recovery.

Kūrīa and Waititū were plotting together when one gave the other Coronavirus. These politicians should learn they are not above Coronavirus like they are above the law.

Are you above the Wuhan virus yourself @mugikuyu??? Folks can meet as long as they don’t break the curfew rules! You can get it right if your mouth stops diarrhea-ring a bit too much!!

Pole Moses Kuria! Now, these Kenyan Politicians has to be treated by Kenyan Doctors. If it wasn't for Covid travel restrictions, he could be heading to Europe for treatment. I always advocate for people to trust Kenyan doctors, they can do it too. Infact, they do a very good job.

Other politicians should learn and stay home.
