School Principal Busted Engaging in a Sexual Act with a KCSE Candidate at His House
A high school teacher was on Wednesday arrested after he was allegedly busted engaging in a sexual act with a Form Four student.
Mr. Leonard Baraza, principal of Chebotoi Secondary School in Kuresoi South, Nakuru County was caught sleeping with the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidate at his house in the area.
Kiptagich Location Chief Wycliffe Too while confirming the incident said the teacher was nabbed following a tip-off from area residents.
The student, who is alleged to be aged 21, told police officers that she went to the teacher’s house after completing her KCSE paper on Wednesday evening.
The two were taken to Kiptagich Police Station before the girl was escorted to Kiptagich Health Centre where a medical test confirmed that she engaged in sexual intercourse with the principal.
The girl was later picked by her parents while Mr. Baraza was detained at the police station and later released on free bond pending the confirmation of the student’s birth certificate details to ascertain her age.

Yes it may not be illegal but unethical as someone has pointed out. The issue is deeper than merely dating.This unethical stance comes from the notion of "forbidden fruit." It's the Adam and the apple story where teachers their prestige, power, charisma and charm to take advantage of defenseless females students. It is also mixed and confused with other ideas about sexual harassment and pedophilia.
As a teacher, you are primarily there to teach,act as arole model,why risk your carrier by yielding to the whims of your lust?Think of the consequences.
