New Probe Aims to Unravel the Mysterious Disappearance of Irene Gakwa in the US

Two years ago, Irene Gakwa, a nursing student from Kenya, disappeared from her home in Gillette leaving behind a multitude of unanswered questions and suspicions surrounding her live-in boyfriend Nathan Hightman.

Hightman, who is currently serving time for committing various financial crimes against Gakwa, such as draining her bank account and maxing out her credit card, has been labelled as a person of interest in her disappearance. However, he has yet to face any formal charges. The Torrington Police Department has recently initiated a fresh inquiry, possibly linked to an occurrence involving Hightman while he was at the Wyoming Medium Correctional facility. The specifics of this investigation remain undisclosed and Torrington Police Chief Matt Johnson has refrained from commenting.

As Gakwa's family and friends grapple with her absence, they cling to memories of her as a hardworking and kind-hearted person who moved from Kenya to Idaho to be near her loved ones. She met Hightman after responding to a Craigslist ad and later decided to join him in Wyoming, despite concerns from her loved ones about his conduct. According to Hightman, Gakwa departed their home one night in late February, expressing her discontent and departing in a dark-coloured SUV with her belongings.

Despite extensive attempts to search his home and investigate his potential connection, no advancements have been made in solving Gakwa's case. While imprisoned, Hightman, who maintains his innocence, has faced numerous challenges including alleged threats from fellow inmates and frequent transfers between correctional facilities. In a recent letter, Hightman expresses his dissatisfaction with his current circumstances and the loss of all his belongings. However, he has chosen not to offer any additional details or respond to further inquiries since being moved to Rawlins.

Nathan Hitman is definitely the hitman, the detectives need to keep the case on the radar, no matter how long it takes to unravel the mystery!!!

I agree with you! There’s enough circumstantial evidence to support this case!
It was a premeditated murder:
1. The smoking gun is the fact that he purchased shovel, gloves, boots, barrel etc from Walmart! What did he use them for? Of course to help disposed off her remains perhaps in a remote location that required boots, shovel to dig up the earth and bury her.
2. Accessed and deleted her emails, impersonating her while she was already dead!
3. Using her credit cards fraudulently
4. Accessing and spending her money in different bank accounts.

He did all that knowing that she was already dead & that no one was to hold accuse him or hold him accountable! Looks like Irene was his cash cow.

Don’t pretend that you’re smarter than the prosecutors! They will not charge him until they are sure that they have air tightened up all the wholes that defense attorneys will poke through to create doubt in the minds of the jury! The prosecutors are just not there yet where they feel that they can prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt!! You rush it and then the criminal is acquitted, that’s it, you cannot charge the criminal again due to double jeopardy prohibition!!!

Si kwamba kesi ya Bi. Gakwa imebaridishwa ikawa baridi. Unaposikia wapelelezi wamepanua kinywa, basi elewe kuna kitu kipya kimejitokeza.

Akie endelea kufinywa makende he will vomit truth. It takes tough interrogation tactics including water boarding to confess. He's the killer based on innocent blood Haunting him and circumstances

Unfortunately, this isn’t the sh!thole aka Kenya, there is no Nyayo House and other torturing and murdering dungeons!!! At some point, there will be a snitch in prison who will provide the goods to the authorities for leniency!!! Them criminals would always wanna brag about their crimes behind bars!!!
