MCA Aspirant’s Three Children Murdered in Unclear Circumstances
Sombre mood engulfed Kapsoya Estate in Eldoret town after three missing children of Kapsoya Ward aspirant James Ratemo were found dead.
On Friday, police had already recovered two bodies of the children and later identified a third one dumped in River Nzoia in Eldoret.
The three boys, Clifford Nyambane, Dan Nyamweya, and Glen Ongagi were reported missing after attending Eldovil SDA Church last Saturday, accompanied by their cousin but they would never return home after the church service.
Police have launched investigations into the incident to establish the cause of the deaths and the possible motive the perpetrator of the heinous act had.
The three boys were aged seven, three and five years old.
Seven-year-old Nyambane was a class one pupil while his five-year-old brother Nyamweya was in pre-unit. Ongagi was not in school yet.
Their father is contesting for Kapsoya Ward Representative in the County Assembly on a KANU ticket.
The bodies of the three minors were traced in the same day a body of a missing Baringo Member of County Assembly was found dead and dumped in Ol Donyo Sabuk River.
Police believe the two incidents may have been politically instigated and rivals are on the radar of police investigations.
