Indonesian Group Hacks Several Kenyan Government Websites
A group of Indonesian cyber attackers Kurd Electronic Team has hacked several Kenyan government websites.
17 Kenyan government websites including the Integrated Financial Management and Information System (IFMIS) portal have been affected.
The infiltrators placed their logo on the affected websites indicating they had taken control of the platforms.
“Hacked by W4r10k, Kurd electronic team,” read the message on the hacked sites.
Other hacked websites include those of the National Youth Service (NYS), Judicial Service Commission (JSC), Immigration Department, Kenya Meat Commission, Petroleum Ministry, and Refugees Affairs.
