NASA Refunds Moses Kuria's Sh5 Donation Towards Raila's Campaigns

Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria claims that opposition National Super Alliance (NASA) has rejected his 5 shillings donation towards Raila Odinga's Presidential candidate.

In a statement on his Facebook account, the controversial MP acknowledged the refund and expressed disappointment in NASA's decision to rescind his donation.

"Dear NASA. I hereby acknowledge your refund of my Ksh 5 contribution to your Paybill. I had donated in good faith. Though disappointed, I can perfectly understand," he wrote.

Kuria further said that the rejection of his donation was understandable because NASA was already well financed through various foundations.

"Rosemary Odinga foundation has Sh583 Million, Kalonzo Musyoka foundation has Sh270 Million. The M-Pesa contributions made to pay teachers when they were on strike has Sh170 Million," he disclosed.

Kuria quoted a Bible verse from Matthew chapter13 verse 12 to describe Nasa's situation.

"The Bible says: 'Those who have more will be given' And to the poor, 'Even that which they think they have will be taken away and given to those who have!'. Have a blessed week," he stated.

Kuria made his contribution through an Mpesa paybill number unveiled by National Super Alliance presidential campaigns Raila Odinga on Friday for Kenyans campaigns channel their contributions to support his campaigns.
