No Boardroom Deals, Lets Meet at the Ballot, DP William Ruto Tells Raila

Deputy President William Ruto says that Jubilee Party will not be engaging in negotiations with the Opposition National Super Alliance over the electoral commission, arguing that the negotiations are meant to derail October 17th repeat presidential elections.

Ruto said the opposition was not ready for elections and are aiming at a “political solution” where power will be shared in boardroom.

Speaking during Jubilee campaigns in Mombasa and Kilifi counties on Friday, Ruto said that Raila had sensed defeat and wanted a nusu mkate government (coalition Government).

Ruto said the plot by NASA would translate to short-changing Kenyan, adding that Jubilee will not fall for any of this.

“NASA is talking about a political solution to the October 17 elections because they have sensed defeat. They want us to negotiate how to share power and short change Kenyans on the impending elections,” he said.

“We are very clear they cannot allocate themselves power to deny Kenyans their constitutional right to elect whoever they want.”

“The only political solution available is for people of Kenya to go to the ballot and elect their leaders,” he added.

The Deputy President earlier held a meeting with over 2,000 Jubilee leaders from the entire coast region at Wild Waters, Mombasa to strategize on how campaigns for President Uhuru reelection in the region will be conducted.

Governors Salim Mvurya (Kwale), Fahim Twaha (Lamu), MPs Naomi Shaban (Taveta), Anwar Loitiptip (Lamu County), Khalib Mwashetani (Lunga Lunga), Shariff Ali (Lamu East) among others were present.

Others were former Tana River Governor Hussein Dado, Former MPs Gideon Mung’aro (Kilifi North, Ababu Namwamba (Budalang’i) and former Cabinet Secretary Kazungu Kambi.

“We know what they want. They want us to negotiate for a coalition Government. It’s Kenyans who will decide on their President,” said Ruto.

“Why are they (Nasa) afraid and they have been chest thumping that they enjoy popular support? As Jubilee, let’s abide by the court ruling and ask our supporters to vote,” Ruto said.

“They have problems with the ballot. They have problems with polling clerks. Whatever they agree with IEBC we will not question. What we want is elections to be held on schedule.”

“Elections are not about ballot papers or polling clerks: it is about the people,” said Ruto.

If the morally corrupt IEBC was an efficient organization, morally bankrupt Ruto should have been barred from running for any public elective office. Anyone voting for this thief (Ruto) is as crooked as he is. A vote for Uhuru or Raila is a vote for empowering evils to continue ruining our nation.

Yes tell that to supreme, it is about the people, the will of the people, count the votes and dtermine the winner. If you find that the will of the people was thwarted, then yes cancel the election, if you blame tallying and transmission, the order retallying and retransmission, not cancelling the will of the people and try and write the judgement later. It's like a judge saying I find you guilty of murder and sentence you to death but will issue my judgement after you are hanged. The 4 judges were a pure joke. How come the other 2 wrote their judgement, it's because they didn't have to go and create reasons.

Neither Raila nor Uhuru is fit to be the president of Kenya. The people of Kenya should wake up. They have been voting for hyenas and wolves as their leaders. That's the reason that almost all the sheep is almost eaten by the insatiable and greedy hyenas and wolves in power.

Ruto you are doing a good job putting Rao back to where he belongs. Come 2022 a dungeon will be good for him.
