NASA Claims Gov't Has Deployed Military Officers to Oversee Next Week's Election

National Super Alliance (NASA) now claims that the government has deployed over three hundred army officers to preside over the October 26th election in Kisumu.

Speaking on Friday, Siaya senator James Orengo said that Nasa ws reliably informed that the military officers deployed in the lakeside county are drawn from Lanet barracks in Nakuru.

“You [President Uhuru Kenyatta] cannot militarise elections. It’s about the ballot, not the bullet. Any election in which the military participates is not an election,” Orengo said in Bondo, where he accompanied Nasa leader Raila Odinga.

“Once the government uses the military, people can stand and take any action provided by the Constitution. The Constitution does not allow Uhuru to conduct elections the way he wants,” Orengo said.

The senator further hit out at the international community and accused them of ignoring concerns raised over the integrity of the repeat election, just like they did during the nullified August 8th election.

“We’re keen to hear from the US ambassador and the UK’s high commissioner. Former IEBC commissioner Roselyn Akombe said the environment is not conducive to a free and fair election,” he said.

He warned that Nasa would not allow President Uhuru to impose himself on Kenyans like he is doing.

“Kenyatta should know that he can’t impose dictatorship on the people. Moi detained Raila for 10 years, but he was retired, while Odinga is still there,” he said.

“Kenyans are celebrating those who brought about liberation. Unfortunately, we’re marking it in sadness, as innocent blood has been shed because of greed for power. We say goodbye to three Kenyans shot by trigger-happy police. They had the right to protest against polls imposed against their will,” Orengo said during the burial of three people reportedly killed by police during Nasa anti-IEBC demos.

There are goats who will bleat endlessly no matter what you give them. Lush green sweet potato vines, water, even licking salt won't quiet this bleating variety. Nothing is ever good enough for them. Mburi ya rwanio ikuaga na rwanio.

Thanks Mumbi for that, another saying I can put in my collection. If uhuru has indeed deployed the army, that's good news. People have to vote without fear. Enough is enough

I agree Mugi. Same folks yelling about their security being withdrawn don't want the same for IEBC officials and Kenyan voters. Only people interested in chaos would complain about the military maintaining law and order.

You know Orengo is cornered when he grovels like a pig instead of beating his chest and threatening fire and brimstone.

Roselyn Akombe Has been accused of causing rift within IEBC because of her promiscuous behavior that caused division within the commission. She has also been accused of engaging in a fist fight with Orengo on August 14th over the same issue. Her opinion should therefore be ignored because it bears no merit. Everybody knows she was working in the commission as Raila mole. She is also said to be the person that supplied fake forms 34B to Nyakati that were used as pretext by coup plotters, the Maraga 4, to nullify Presidential election. Akombe need to lie low like an envelope

As a matter of fact Raila, Orengo, Akombe and a host of those barkers trace their roost in Southern Sudan. If they are so afraid of Kenyan Military maintaining law and order during a vital election day they can go back to their country of South Sudan. The Luo Nation which people like Akombe envisions encompasses a big chunk of Sudan, South Sudan, and The Lake basin. Akombe is a traitor and no longer welcome back in Kenya according to a motion being planned to be introduced in Kenyan parliament. She can enjoin forces with Raila and Orengo and create that Luo Nation in Southern Sudan without any part of the Kenyan territory as we know it today. It should be easy because she(Akombe) works for United Nations and is a Geek in UN operations.
