NASA Calls Off Raila's 'Swearing-in'
National Super Alliance (NASA) has called off the planned 'swearing in' of opposition leader Raila Odinga that had been scheduled for Tuesday.
In a press brifing at Okoa Kenya offices on Sunday, NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi said the inauguration has been pushed to a date to be communicated later.
“Following internal consultations, the NASA leadership advises the NASA fraternity that the swearing in of Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka as president and deputy president of the republic of Kenya has been postponed,” said Mudavadi, who was flanked by other leaders including Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula and Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana.
Mudavadi revealed that the inauguration ceremony was to take place in Mombasa, a perceived Nasa stronghold. “We wish to thank Mombasa for accepting to host the event."

Instead of regrouping and strategizing on the way forward - how to become a credible opposition outfit to keep Chupilee at bay, this clueless assembly of idiots has chosen to let millions of Kenyans down by whining and grandstanding and by so doing, have strengthened the dictatorial tendencies of Uhuru and his Chupilee cohorts. Like grief there are five stages to this;
1. Denial-(no elections, boycott elections, do not recognize the outcome, only 3.5M votes)
2. Anger( Boycott products, Street demos two days a week, form NRM, Resist, secession talk etc)
3. Depression( Blaming the west, church, shuttle diplomacy to UK, US, TZ , 1M people welcome)
4. Bargain (convert MCAs to People's assemblies, parallel Swearing-in, conditional dialogue, swearing moved to 12/12, "constitution my foot", "calling it off" to a future date)
5. Acceptance is the next and remaining stage where cord-nasa-nrm-peoples assembly will need to reorganize their roles, assign roles to new crop of leaders, make new connections and meaningful agenda, listen to Kenyans' collective needs and evolve to an alternative government and giving up their obstructionist ways. Reinvent genuine opposition with the understanding that the challenge is in the future and not in maintaining the past. Respect the rule of law and rights of other stakeholders in this political enterprise, which when it sneezes East and Central Sub-Saharan Africa catches a cold.

Boss, I wish there were winners and losers in this whole thing. Many analysts including several Luos in the know were of the view that Raila was using killings and violence to bring the government into the bargaining table of nusu mkate. Raila didn't have the votes, the funds or the wherewithal to fight the establishment and he knew it. He lied to you and many followers that there was a way out but he has now painted himself into a corner. We need to move on as we need a healthy Kenya not one filled with tension. Myself, a Kikuyu, and my two luo business partners are continuing our business ventures. Keep waiting for the inauguration.

You may think it is taunting. It is not. But if you open your eyes wide, you will see the reality right in front of your face. We are just calling it as it is. If you doubt me, just look up what nasarites in Kenya are saying. They are telling baba to go take a seat on Mount Sinai so that they can get another Joshua to take them to the elusive Kanaan.
