UN Appoints President Uhuru As Global Champion for Youth Empowerment

United Nation Child's Fund (UNICEF) has named President Kenyatta as the global champion for youth empowerment.

Speaking at State House in Nairobi on Friday, UNICEF Executive Director Henrietta Fore said the Kenyan Head of State accepted his new role, which will include championing for universal healthcare, education and nutrition.

Fore paid a courtesy call on President Kenyatta on Friday at State House and pledged to offer support to Kenya in realising universal healthcare, a key pillars of President Kenyatta’s big four growth agenda.

Others are job creation, manufacturing, affordable housing, and food and nutritional security.

The two also discussed education, with the President affirming his commitment to achieving 100 per cent primary to secondary school transition rates.

“Education is key for youth development. It is a major catalyst for equity and social stability,” President Kenyatta said.

Ms Fore stressed that the New York- headquartered agency is also keen on promoting child education. “We can work in partnership to nurture talents so that children and teenagers between the age of 10 and 18 can be given life skills,” Ms Fore said.

How can an alcoholic empower the youth? By drinking and scratching his rectum in public events? Give this post to Ghana President, it's a really doing very well in every sector. The truth be told.

Never thought I would say this, but ,Donald Trump is partly right about the UN.

Based on this publicity stunt,I support defunding of UNICEF.This is an organization that clearly does not care about children.
They should be de-funded,investigated and shutdown.

What G2 has written above is what's called whooping non sequitur, and though G2 thinks he/she sounds intelligent, it is the continuous stupidity of some NASA followers who think by going low low, they are going to nail their point. Such nonsense.

“He loved to curse; let curses come upon him! He did not delight in blessing; may it be far from him! He clothed himself with cursing as his coat; may it soak into his body like water, like oil into his bones! May it be like a garment that he wraps around him, like a belt that he puts on every day! May this be the reward of my accusers from the Lord, of those who speak evil against my life!”
