Retired President Daniel Arap Moi's Grandson Abandons Girlfriend in High-End Hotel with Sh100,000 Unsettled Bill

Retired President Daniel Arap Moi's grandson, Collins Moi is in the spotlight after he abandoned his girlfriend in a hotel with an unpaid bill of more than Sh100,000.
Collins, son of former President Moi's son, Jonathan booked into Skynest Hotel in Kitale on December 29th together with his girlfriend identified as Marsha Amario to celebrate her birthday for six days.
“He looked like a responsible person. He had so many friends who had surrounded him at the hotel and he bought so many expensive drinks for them,” says Timothy Simiyu, a manager at the hotel.
Simiyu says Collins promised to settle the bill the following day but kept on postponing, saying he would pay it fully at the end of their stay at the high-end hotel.
On the fifth day, the hotel, however, demanded he first settles the outstanding bill before being provided with more services. On Saturday, Collins left the hotel without paying the bill, leaving his girlfriend behind.
The hotel was forced to detain Ms. Amario until the bill is cleared. When contacted, Collins said he was at the family's rural home in Kabarak, Nakuru County and promised to send a friend to pay the bill but that did not happen.
The hotel was forced to call the police and Ms. Amario, who is the daughter of Naivasha businessman Fai Omar Amario, was taken to Kitale Police station where she was detained until Friday, January 11th after intervention from a senior member of the Moi family, who promised to clear the bill.
“He told me he was taking me to Kitale since he had a birthday surprise for me. All along I knew he was the one paying for everything only to find myself in this situation,” Ms. Amario says.

Really!? The name itself is worth more than 100K. Well, the lad may have no name of himself worth 100K, but an inherited name worth billions. With or without money why treat your woman to such a humiliation and liability? Morally pathetic but future dynatic leaders!

He should have gone to jail for stealing the two mobile phones; but since he’s above law, he escaped serving a jail and therefore he’ll never learn anything.
