Catholic Bishop Demands Action on Presidential Candidate George Wajackoyah over Proposal to Legalize Bhang

A Catholic bishop has demanded action against Roots Party presidential candidate Prof. George Wajackoyah, who he claims is unfit to be Kenya’s president.

Bishop James Maria Wainaina of the Muranga Catholic Diocese accused Wajackoyah of promoting illegal and immoral behavior, citing his pledge to legalize marijuana and prostitution if he clinches the presidency in the August 9th elections.

Speaking in Kangari parish on Sunday, the clergyman questioned why relevant authorities are yet to take any action against the presidential contender over his proposal on bhang which is listed as an illegal drug in the Narcotic Drugs Act.

Stating that Kenya has historically developed a religious character that is generally God-fearing, Bishop Wainaina regretted that Wajackoya’s proposals are already having a negative impact on youth and children.

"Many Kenyans have been affected directly by the drug menace and most have seen how families have been destroyed by the use of bhang, most youths have been rendered destitute making them havens of unthinkable domestic violence," said Bishop Wainaina.

"Prostitution in any and all its manner of practice is immoral and leads to social decadence that is unacceptable in a sane society."

The man of the cloth opined that decriminalizing marijuana would pave the way for the influx of other hard drugs, and urged authorities to take speedy action against these deceptive claims.

"The country must be protected as such proposals would destroy the values we have nurtured over the decades, and therefore must be challenged and rejected by all of us."

"It is very unfortunate that these proposals are even done in public and they are already making very adverse effects on our youth and children," he added.

@Kenya, I beg to differ. This is one intelligent man who says he has never used marijuana but understands the value of it. Even the hustlers who've been promised wheelbarrows are now singing weed songs. That is the real bottom up approach.

@kenya, how much money does Kenya spend on pursuing the sellers and the users and then spend even more to house them? Who is then responsible for the kids left with one or no parents? If these same kids turn to criminal ways or are rendered homeless and become a burden to society, who pays? Most decisions do have ramifications beyond the obvious.

Why would we listen to a man, and he is only a man, who is part of an organization that has multiple members who have have participated in sexual abuse that the organization has then protected vigorously. Clean up your own house first bishop.

Kenya Bishops won’t speak against corruption because they are employed by a corrupt Vatican.

So Wainaina is just making a hay out of nothing. As a matter of fact Wainaina knows the Catholic Church has always been the problem with morality.

There is nothing this Bishop can teach Wajackoyah in regard to religion and human society. Doesn’t Wajackoyah have a degree in theology?

The Catholic Church need to worry more about child abuse and molestation of boys by fathers and nuns instead of worrying about bhang smoking in Kenya and Africa.

These Catholics smoke Bhang inside the Pope’s house in Rome. Their level of morality is very low if you ask me.

Italy also grows bhang for trade across the world. They are just scared Kenyan bhang will be better quality to take the markets of their brand of bhang.

Bishop Wainana should worry more about Ruto’s corruption and theft of Kenya’s resources than the valuable plant that will help pay off the national debt.

Prof Wajackoyah has already figured out a proper way of utilizing the Kenyan farms to yield the highest productivity per acre. The medicinal dope will be exported to Italy to heal all those Bishops with an appetite to sexually abuse young boys.

So Bishop Wainana don’t you think the prof is doing the Catholic Church a big favor by coming up with a cure for homosexuality? Many Bishops in Rome should prescribe to Wajackoyah’s healing drug.

The Bishop who is a good friend of DP Ruto should help Ruto to understand that stealing from the poor people is wrong.

If Kenya is a God fearing country as the man of the cloth puts it,then the fear must not be working based of the evils we see in the country.Worst some of these evils are committed by his friends of the cloth.
For prostitution, as rampant as it is, we might as well legalize it.Tax it and control the profession. To say legalize prostitution is not the same as encouraging it.Poverty and greed is what is forcing women into prostitution. And ofcourse prostitution cannot exist without men/customers. Men see prostitution as cheap sex.
May be if men of the cloth prayed harder, these evils would go away.Though I doubt.

Isn't this the same Catholic Bishop James Maria Wainaina who once told his parishioners not to take the Pfizer and Moderna Corvid vaccines because they're made from cells of fetuses and yet his wife and 6 kids took them?

We all have a strong interest in preventing increased addictions, abuse and the mental health problems that come along with the use of this bhangi drug. We cannot support Legalization, because this would mean that big corporations with long marketing arms would start peddling the drug in our country. This would lead to increased consumption rates. Increased consumption rates would mean larger numbers of people in the population with bhangi associated mental health problems.

Bishop Wainana - the first thing you need to do is tell your other bishops at the Vatican Rome to stop molesting boys.

Bishops having annal sex with boys is immoral and very wrong. Stop passing judgment at Wajackoyah over bhang while you sweep molesting boys under the rug. Hypocracy of the highest order Bushop!

The Catholic Church is known to condone immorality. You Wainana is part and parcel of that immoral behaviors. Lead us alone as we smoke bhang and eat snakes.

Please allow me to remind you Bishop that most of the bhang consumed all over the world comes from Italy. Wainaina has never commented on that fact until Wajackoya threatened your bhangi trade by growing bhangi in kenya to compete on the world stage with Italy. Did the pope call you to tell Wajackoya to stop enlightening black people?

Bushop Wainaina, since you have opened a Can of whoop, I want to remind you that the Bishoos in the Catholic Church have sexually molested over 5000 boys world wide. How can you have never addressed this immoral act in the past and now?

You have now started judging Wajackoya while the log in your eyes is too thick Bishop that you can’t even see. Lay off the boys first and then tell us about bhangi, etc.

Mr. Wainaina,
What you should be worried about is the foundation of the Catholic church.
For the Catholic church to establish itself among Kenyans and Africans, it destroyed our shrines and enslaved our people.
The church has since caused a lot of deaths among our people. It has raped, robbed and murdered. Some churches in Kenya are sitting on stolen land.
The Catholic church has evolved to steal money from the poor - See confession of Cleflo Dollar- An American preacher telling his congregation to throw away all the books and tapes that he sold for decades about tithing ( Prosperity Gospel).
The collapse of foreign colonial churches in Kenya and Africa is on the horizon. Do not worry about politics. Take out the veil of the so called "churches" there you will find all manner of evil.
We are almost there.
Read the Catholic church manifesto :
" Dum Diversers" by Pope Nicholas the 5th- Why and how the Catholic church was and still is enslaving the black man.

The bishop must have plenty of idle time to worry about someone who by all polls has no chance of wining the election;of course barring monumental shift in polls.
The way to stop Mr.Ganja is to not have him win,and you do that by ballot...
I would like to ask the Bishop why God created cannabis,if not for human consumption, and use for medicinal purposes. We can do that, and still control the recreational part. And that's where you the man of the cloth comes in.You go out and preach the evils of ganja,do some praying and hope that people will stop smoking just to get high. And while you are praying for the "destruction" of ganja, think about doing same for liquor ...
