Raila Dances the Night Away to Benga Tunes in Celebration of Supreme Court Ruling

National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga was video-taped celebrating the nullification of President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election in a night dance at unknown location, hours after the Supreme Court verdict.

On Saturday, Kenyans on social media shared a video of the former Prime Minister. In the video, Raila is seen dancing in the night away on Friday.

In the clip whose origin is unknown, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader, in company of Siaya Senator James Orengo are seen dancing in a night club full of revelers.

Orengo was the lead counsel of a team of lawyers who represented Odinga in the successful presidential election petition.

The two are dancing to the tunes of Benga artiste Emma Jalamo in the night club.

Minutes after the Supreme Court delivered its ruling, Raila addressed the media and declared that the march to ‘Canaan’ is unstoppable.

Opposition supporters in Kibera, Mathare, Nairobi CBD and Kisumu flooded the streets in celebration moments after the ruling that gives Raila try his luck at the Presidency.

A repeat poll will be held within 60 days.
