Kenyan Presidential Aspirant Chases Away Two Bodyguards Assigned to Him, Demands 20 Officers
Mohamed Abduba Dida, a presidential contestant in the upcoming Kenya general elections, has rejected the security officers provided to him by the government. The Tunza Coalition candidate reportedly chased away two Administration Police (AP) Officers who were assigned to guard him ahead of the upcoming polls, saying that they were not enough to ensure his security.
The former High School teacher demanded that the government assign him 20 security officers to guarantee his security as he eyes the country’s top seat.
He said that he will be petitioning the Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet to grant him 20 security personnel, saying that other it was discriminatory to give him only two officers, while some candidates have up to 50 bodyguards.
This comes just weeks after the Inspector General of Police declined a request by NASA falg-bearer Raila Odinga to increase his bodyguards from 35 to 50.
The constitution requires that all presidential candidates be provided with enough security as they seek the top seat.
Dida first vied for the presidency in 2013 elections and garnered a total of 52,840 votes.

Please Kenyans, none of them deserve to be elected! They allowed Somalis to come to Kenya to destroy our beautiful country, buying citizenship and then turning around and living like kings in the land that belongs to the native, then they fence some areas or treat themselves better, if Didi cared he would stand for all, if Raila cared, he would let someone else lead, same goes with uhuru and all those who are yawning to steal from poor Kenyans!!
