19 NASA Senators Kick Out Wetang'ula as Senate Minority Leader

The National Super Alliance (Nasa) Senate Parliamentary group has voted to remove Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang'ula as Minority Leader.

In a meeting held at the Senate lounge on Tuesday morning, the senators resolved to replace Wetang'ula with Siaya senator James Orengo.

19 senators present at the meeting unanimously endorsed Orengo as the new Minority Leader. Orengo will be sworn in on Tuesday afternoon even as the decision to oust Wetangula awaits final ruling by Senate Speaker Ken Lusaka.

However, in a letter to the Speaker, Nasa chief executive officer Norman Magaya advised against the ejection of Wetang'ula.

“I have instructions from the National Super Alliance Summit comprising the Nasa principals to inform you that Senator Moses Wetangula remains the duly nominated leader of minority in the Senate by Nasa,” the letter reads in part.

Nasa Summit is made up of Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Wetang'ula.

Any so called agreement between Nasa parties became null and void the day Raila landed in Canan on 30th january. These three cowards with only a total of six senators should retire from politics.

@Anonymous, negativity is like weed. It does not need any effort to grow. The weed grows on the side walk where nobody waters or fertilize it. It grows on the crack on the rock where nothing else can grow.

According to Mudavadi, NASA remains intact. His reasoning: Wetang'ula was to be Senate Majority Leader, the Minority Leader position was not part of the agreement, and was not envisioned. Removing Wetang'ula therefore does not negate the original NASA agreement. Wholly concur with his explanation.

@Anonymous, if you revise your biology lessons, you will see all living things undergo the cycle of what you grossly describe. I didn't get your drift as I got grossed out just reading it.

@Mwororo well said about these three clowns a.k.a morons a.k.a flower girls. Their political prostituting days are over under the guise of NASWA.
They should go home and come back in 2022 and having reinvented the wheels of NASWA or as you put it do some radical changes on their pathetic cast otherwise they will be politically irrelevant.
