Ruto Attends Italy-Africa Summit Alongside 20 Global Leaders

President William Ruto is set to travel to Rome, Italy, as announced by State House Spokesperson Hussein Mohammed on Sunday, January 28.

President Ruto will be attending the Italy-Africa Summit, along with 20 other African leaders. His objective at the summit is to secure financial support for the dam projects that have been put on hold in the country. The summit, under the theme "A Bridge for Common Growth," will cover multiple areas of cooperation, including food security, culture, education, vocational training, and energy security.

Additionally, African leaders will request Italy's assistance in advancing economic and infrastructure growth, as well as combatting human trafficking and terrorism. President Ruto will additionally present a speech on energy security at the summit, representing the Committee of African Heads of State and Government on Climate Change (CAHOSCC). Additionally, he will hold discussions with Italy's President Sergio Mattarella to explore potential collaborations between the two countries.

The plans for the meeting were disclosed by Italy Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. Italy and Kenya have worked together on multiple endeavours concerning environmental conservation and adjusting to climate change. Italy has also extended financial aid to Kenya for the construction of the Aror and Kimwarer dams, in addition to supporting initiatives in education, healthcare, energy, and culture.

During his time in Europe, Ruto will take advantage of the chance to engage with officials from the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), who have played a crucial role in providing financial support for his projects.

Ruto feels like he is on the top of the world when he is rubbing shoulders with wazungus. I read somewhere that he gasped in awe when he saw a homeless mzungu in NYC.

Another foreign trip! All the patriotic people of Kenya(UDA & ODM) should work together and save our nation from total destruction organized by Ndugu Samoei son of Cherop (mother) and Ruto (father).

His authoritarian style of administration takes us back about two decades ago when the late Toroitich son of Kabon (mother) and Moi (his father) ruined our nation through his dictatorial style of administration that he taught his student Samoei while in power.

It should be known that Samoei did not support the current Constitution of Kenya and still believes that we are back in those sad days of Toroitich's decadent style of leadership.

It's time that all patriotic people of Kenya work together and save our country from total ruin by Samoei.

I challenge all the people of Kenya to look beyond their myopic political parties' ideologies and focus on making our nation special and wonderful again.

Ndugu Rigathi: Could you please show your boss (Samoei) where his office is located on Harambee Avenue and ask him to serve Kenyans there while minimizing his domestic and foreign trips immediately.
