Sister Reveals What Might Have Killed Journalist Rita Tinina

The Kenyan media is in mourning following the sudden death of Nation Television (NTV) journalist Rita Tinina.
Ms Tinina, 46, was discovered deceased in her Kileleshwa residence on Sunday, March 17, after failing to report to work as expected. Nation Media Group's Editor-in-Chief Joe Ageyo confirmed the news, expressing shock and sadness. While Ms Tinina reportedly appeared well the previous day, a welfare check revealed she had passed away peacefully in her sleep. An autopsy is pending, but available information suggests Ms Tinina may have succumbed to complications from epilepsy, a pre-existing condition. She had reportedly been experiencing a fever for several days before her death.
