Laikipia Woman Rep Cate Waruguru Decamps to Ruto's 'Hustler Movement'
Laikipia Woman Representative Cate Waruguru has rejoined Deputy President William Ruto’s ‘hustler movement.’
Waruguru ditched Ruto’s camp in June 2020 and declared her support for President Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
She vowed to work with the two leaders on national issues, including constitutional reforms, national unity, and the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
But on Saturday, Waruguru announced her return to the ‘hustler movement’ as she apologized to Ruto for leaving.
She pointed out that she made an about-turn after interrogating her conscience and thoughts and listening to the people of Laikipia.
“The question is not about the party. The question is, in whose hands is Kenya be safe?" she said in Nanyuki.
Waruguru stated that the Ruto-led ‘hustler movement’ is unstoppable, and expressed confidence that United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party will form the next government.
“And we are telling them that world that this movement is unstoppable. We are not talking about the third liberation. We are talking about the first-ever movement. The first-ever revolution. The industrial revolution, and economical revolution,” she said.
Waruguru’s return comes barely three weeks after Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru decamped to UDA and endorsed Ruto’s 2022 presidential bid.

And the Kenyan devil was formerly a civil servant in Kenya, so he comes in, signs his time sheet and goes back home for other businesses!!"
