NASA Plans Grand Welcome for Raila at JKIA as He Returns from the US
NASA leaders and supporters are planning to accord Raila Odinga a grand welcome at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) as he returns from his one week trip to the United States.
"The NRM movement and the coalition of Nasa invite millions of patriots to walk to JKIA and welcome the people's president," former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna said on Wednesday.
Speaking during a rally at Jacaranda grounds on Sunday, Nasa leaders asked supporters to turn out in large numbers at JKIA to welcome the opposition chief.
"We will walk in millions to JKIA to welcome Raila and match to Uhuru Park for a major rally," former Machakos senator Johnstone Muthama said.
"Let us welcome Raila with more numbers than those who voted for Uhuru," Homa Bay Women Representative Gladys Wanga said.
"We will show Uhuru that Raila is the President of Kenya on Thursday next week. Let us all come out and welcome our President at JKIA," Ugunja MP Opiyo Wandayi said.
Raila left the country for the US last Wednesday for meetings with various leaders.
