NASA to Name More Companies in its Products Boycott Plan
National Super Alliance (NASA) says it will this week name more companies in their products boycott plan.
Speaking on Tuesday, Nasa Chief Executive Officer Norman Magaya pointed out that the National Resistance Movement committee has identified more corporations that involved themselves in election rigging scheme and those backing the Jubilee administration.
“We’ll make it known this week. We are going to escalate very seriously. The list is growing,” Magaya told the Star.
Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) chairman John Mbadi said that Nasa will advise supporters to boycott products of the firms found guilty by the NRM committee.
“It’s about companies that played a major role in subverting the will of the people and democracy. There is an NRM committee. If they recommend others, we’ll include them,” he said.
Magaya said that the earlier boycott where Nasa named Safaricom, Brookside and Bidco has been successful, noting that the outfit will not relent in the fight against electoral injustice.
“The boycott is extremely effective. It has even surpassed our expectations,” he said.
Mbadi added: “Just ask the distributors of those products or the firms — you’ll get the response.”
