4 KDF Soldiers Killed in Grisly Road Crash

Four Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) officers were killed after a vehicle they were traveling in was involved in a grisly road crash on Sunday night.

The driver of the vehicle carrying the military officers is said to have lost control before colliding head-on with an approaching private car at Matunda area along Meru–Isiolo Highway.

Confirming the incident, Buuri OCPD Joseph Asugo said the officers died on the spot while four other people including a man, his wife, and two children, sustained injuries. 

The four, who were in the private car, were rushed to Kiirua Mission Hospital for treatment. Bodies of the deceased army officers were taken to Kiirua Mission Hospital mortuary
