Man Seeking to 'Resurrect' General Nkaissery Causes Drama During Burial

A young man caused drama at the late Interior Cabinet Secretary General Joseph Nkaissery’s burial after he breached tight security and jumped to the podium shouting the name of Jesus, while holding Nkaissery’s casket. The man claimed he had been sent by God to resurrect Nkaissery.
“The spirit of the Lord sent me here, to come and fight the forces of death,” said the man who gave his name as Anthony Njuguna.
“If you allow me to go back there and pray for Gen Nkaissery; if he does not resurrect, feel free to kill me.”
“I told God that I would be coming to this place and asked Him to send his angels so that they could protect me until I reached where the casket was,” he explained.
He was quickly apprehended by security officers and handed him to other security guards for interrogation.
What shocked many was how Njuguna managed to gain access to the podium, even when some VIPs were denied access to the main tent.
Kajiado County Commissioner Harsama Kello said that police suspected that the man 'could be mentally unsound' after interrogating him for hours.
"Latest reports I am getting from Director of Criminal Investigations indicate the suspect is not in his right senses," Kello said.

They should have given him a chance. Yes! Unlike the Politicians, Silver and Gold he did NOT have; but Resurrection he (believed) he had.
