Kenyans Online React to Photo of Gender CS Sicily Kariuki's Bodyguard Carrying Her Handbag

A photo of a bodyguard belonging to Youth and Gender Cabinet Secretary Sicily Kariuki, carrying her handbag moments before a press briefing by President Uhuru Kenyatta at his Harambee house office on August 14 has gone viral on social media, eliciting mixed reaction among Kenyans online.

The image, captured by photographer Hezron Njoroge has left tongues wagging, eliciting a heated debate among social media users.

While some argued that it was not right for the bodyguard's to carry the handbag and the same time protect her with his hand occupied, others were of the opinion that it is within the boardguards duty to carry his boss's handbag.
