President Kenyatta is scheduled to deliver a public lecture at the Royal Institute of International Affairs, popularly referred to as Chatham House in London, United Kingdom on Tuesday.
Chatham House, a London-based non-governmental organisation, has named Kenya as one of fastest growing economies in the continent over the last 10 years.
In his talk, Kenyatta will among other issues outline his plans for the country in his second and final term in office.
"President Uhuru's first term saw major gains in access to electricity and significant infrastructure investment.
"However, inequality and poverty remain rampant: 8,300 Kenyans own more wealth than the rest of the population (around 48 million people) and two years of drought have left more than three million in need of food aid," read a statement on Chatham's website.
The Head of State is also expected to highlight the measures his administration has put in place to achieve regional peace and stability, especially in the neighbouring countries South Sudan and Somalia.
Last month, United Nations Special Advisor Adama Dieng was quoted by a section of international press claiming that Kenya has contributed to the prolonged conflict in South Sudan. He claimed that Kenya allowed weapons flow to the Africa's youngest nation through its border.
However, Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Monica Juma rubbished the claims saying,"The allegations by the senior UN officials are not only unfortunate and misguiding, but they also lack facts. Kenya's record is clear with regard to efforts in the search for peace and stability in the Horn of Africa."
