NASA Leaders Threaten to Swear-in Raila as President

Elected leaders allied to National Super Alliance (NASA) have threatened to swear in Raila Odinga as president.
The leaders said that should Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) declare President Uhuru the winner of October 26th election, they would equally declare and swear in Raila using the cancelled August 8th poll.
Speaking at Athi River, Machakos County on Saturday led by Siaya senator James Orengo and former senator Johnstone Muthama, the opposition politicians said they will not recognize Uhuru's win in the repeat poll.
“We will use August 8 results to swear NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga if Uhuru Kenyatta tries to use October 26 poll results to be sworn in,” said Orengo.
"Sisi hatumtambui Uhuru kama Rais wa Kenya na NASA pia haimtambui, sheria inasema serikali ya Kenya itaundwa kikatiba. It is our decision that Uhuru cannot use the October 26 election results to be sworn in, that will be an act of treason”.
Orengo added that Nasa had information that votes garnered by President Uhuru in Thursday's election were doctored figures.
“The executive authority of Republic of Kenya is with the people of Kenya, the constitution says you have the sovereign authority. Uhuru does not have sovereign authority, you people have,” Orengo said.
He vowed that Nasa will lead a movement to reclaim the country back from oppressors.
“We must get our country back, tumeanza safari sasa. Former President Daniel Moi said Kenya is a unitary state but later agreed that we have multiparty after Raila Odinga fought for it," he said.
“Raila Odinga alipambana na Kenyatta wa kwanza mpaka akafa, Moi alienda nyumbani baada ya kufunga Raila, Kibaki joked with Raila and he went home, Uhuru Kenyatta will go home and Raila Odinga will come to be the President of Kenya,” said Orengo.

NASA has a parallel tally of the August 8 polling station results, based on copies of 34As its polling station agents signed. The country would benefit from knowing the true results from NASA's tally.

Go ahead and give us the tally since you seem to be privy to the 'true results' (Akombe I wonder?). But take note that IEBC numbers are what the law recognizes. Everything else is hearsay.

Not Akombe! I don't know the numbers. Court said IEBC's were not tallied correctly. Jubilee is unlikely to report true numbers from polling stations, although they must have them. I would like to see true numbers from NASA.

The electoral commission was on Saturday faced with hard questions on the tallying of presidential vote numbers even as it raced against time to complete verifying details from polling stations and constituencies across the country.
Confusion on the number of votes received by Jubilee Party presidential candidate Uhuru Kenyatta and the voter turnout marked the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) briefing.
In his final briefing of the day on Thursday night, IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati said the turnout was 48 per cent as at the time the polling closed.
This translated to some 9.4 million of the 19.6 million registered voters. But hours later, Mr Chebukati revised the figure to about 34 per cent.
PERFORMED DISMALLY
“The 48 per cent was a best estimate turnout from the team. Latest actual figures from 267 constituencies show 6,553,858 Kenyans turned out to vote,” he tweeted at 11 pm, about six hours after polling had closed.

In neighboring Uganda the Forum for Democratic Change adamantly prepared to "swear-in" Kizza Besigye "as president," officials in government were dismissing the opposition party's actions as desperate.
According to the Electoral Commission, FDC's Besigye lost to President Museveni in the February 18 election, but the party rejected those official results. On the following Tuesday after the election, the executive director of the Uganda Media Centre, Ofwono Opondo, described as "an exercise in futility" the insistence by FDC that Besigye would take his own oath of office the same day that Museveni, the legally-elected president, would take up the instruments of power.
Besigye eventually beat the surveillance of his Kasangati home and turned up in downtown Kampala, FDC officials saying he had gone "to greet his supporters" after taking his oath of office. The FDC-founding president was arrested and, according to reports, flown to Moroto district in the far-flung Karamoja sub-region.
Early the following thursday morning, a video emerged showing Besigye's purported "swearing-in ceremony." In the video,Besigye was seen walking up to a podium and a lady in judicial garb guiding him through the oath. After that, Besigye signs a document bearing the court of arms and titled, 'oath of allegiance."
Seated behind Besigye were a number of senior FDC officials, including party chairman Wasswa Biriggwa, Leader of Opposition in Parliament Wafula Oguttu, FDC Secretary for Mobilisation Ingrid Turinawe, Busia Woman MP Kevina Taaka, Kumi MP Patrick Amuriat and Tororo MP Geoffrey Ekanya, who was the national chairman of Besigye's 2016 presidential campaign task force.

And yet again UHURU is the winner , This voting event was largely peaceful even though we had
few incidents of violence on some parts of the country. I am proud of our security for maintaining the
peace and also at the same time encouraging them to anticipate for anything out of the ordinary.
I echoes the words of our president on MASHUJAA DAY ,THAT OUR COUNTRY CANNOT BECOME AN ANARCHY. We are
not disputing we got no problems but meanwhile we need leadership in the country while we continue
working on solving our problems . President Uhuru is the legitimately elected president ,Also we must not forget the tyranny of
numbers theory previously put forward by Mutahi Ngunyi. It is for a fact Our Gova is not gonna do everything for every single Kenyan but I would them concentrate on
on making Government institutions run effective for example roads ministry , the education ministry , the healthy ministry and many others , Our Government should make sure our economy is in good shape and also our
security need to be completely overhauled to reflect the changing times .The Gova should appoint competitive and agile
personnel to run our Government institutions.

Raila and his henchmen are literally pushing the country closer and closer to war. They keep pushing and pushing. Please stop this suicidal gamesmanship. Raila's objective is to see Kenyan fight each other. Please Wananchi don't fall for this dangerous game. The guys pushing all these will not suffer at all. The average wananchi will bear the burden while the rich fat cats hide inside their mansions. Think about it. Think very carefully before you go out there to do someone else bad deed. Think about your family, your neighbors. This will devastate the republic. Stop it now.

Some nasa supporters are trapped in this roller coaster as well, silently skyscreaming from inside about these ever changing orders, declarations, change of strategy etc. They pray that the ride come to a stop while they are intact.

These diatribe must stop.
Wananchi have serious problems such as poor medical facilities, unemployment, housing, utilities, corruption, immorality. And all these vices/evils know no tribe.Like Obama used to tell republicans, if you have a better idea that can help all americans, bring it.
Jubilee may have its short comings just like any government, but no one can doubt that it has made some progress to kenya.Iam sure Uhuru is not dumb, if Raila has solid productive ideas, Uhuruto would be stupid not to engage them. Wananchi are watching.
